the sTOMperz interview on Soundclick High again too bad about the dvd from ckvl.ca well we'll get our chance to go back another time. In the mean time we have been experimenting with on line music communities. Yeah 5 years ago I was looking for some place where musicians could exchange ideas musically I had Cool Edit and I could make my own overdubs but I wished I had other players on my music. This "place" didn't exist then but it does now and I've been writing about this music comunity over at the webmasterssecretcode.blogspot.com today and I'll be sure to let all of our readers about it in the next few days we'l be adding to our report as we examine each community for it's pros and cons.

============= we joined SOUNDCLICK and answered the interview questions as follows:

We've been struggling with this band thing for quite a while and J said it would be high time we rolled up another hit ... we that's sorta how this song got started M wanted it straight and P wanted it special and O just wanted to get laid.

After breaking up one more time well it was P that got busted ... we found inspiration with the internet. Not as if we were saved or anything we just got spammed by a guy who road a snowmobile so we looked to see if there was any snowmobile songs on line. and the rest is history...

Why this name?
well that was pretty obvious when you know the history behind the band name and the song that brought them together.

Do you play live?
JOMP used to tour but since the truck broke down they decided to play the cyber venue it made sense. We'll be back on the road when we can get another truck going.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We sure hope so we want to sell as many singles of the Snomobile Song at 99cents as possible because we already owe a lot to Tom Connors from Canada even tho he wouldn't remember us from the ho-down but you never know.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
only if they would let us record with Celine Dion

Your influences?
it's a sound that's as much country lane as it is time is square. We like Stompin Tom Connors he's been a great infleunza on our career.

Favorite spot?
Besides the "G" spot, I guess we like Chelmsford Ontario because it reminds us of the moon.
