  Solo records Peppermint Twist Still doing it Recording Artist Steve Solo spent part of the day laying tracks for and old twist tune from the sixties the "Peppermint Twist" originally done by Joey Dee and the Starlighters. "The fun part was doing the back vocals" said Steve in a telephone interview "we're keeping them along with the guitar track and now we have a nice back track for performance."   Duo SS book soloLand for rehearsal The earlier part of the week has been booked by our favorite group Steve & Sylvie. They are in rehearsal for upcoming gigs along the skidoo trails of Québec. Coming up on the 20 and 21 of January the DUO will be at Auberge Beaulieu in St-Joseph de Mékinac. Come up to the Mauricie and find the best sledding in the country.   Multimedialists hit the road for new photo shoot Thre office of the Prime Minister of Canada issued a news bulletin this morning, announcing that the PM himself would be arriving by private air transport, probably in a Cessna ski equiped plane, on the river in Rawdon Quebec, to meet with world renowned author and journalist Steve Solo, to go down town and interview errant snowmobile operators that are transversing the snowmobile trails of Rawdon. The communique, further explained the Political implication of the 'state' visit, citing the current election campaign, in which Martin is experienceing a slump in the poles. Martin said 'Get me to Solo's town, It's time for me to nail down my Quebec voters' support in one fell swoop``.The PM, in an unprecedented election campaign move, is expecting a tremendous turn out of media circus action, and said; `'SOLO is the hottest thing in Quebec media circles, since Rene Levesque! If I get get a photo op with him, I guestimate that it will add 20% to my Quebec votes!! When pressed by the reported from the Globe and Mail, Rob Schnider, the PM shook his head from side to side, and added briskly... ``That Solo! What a man!
